The EOSC-ENTRUST TRE Provider Forum, currently with 16 members across Europe, is an open group working towards the convergence of trusted research environment technology.
The Forum will consolidate existing expertise and good practices by cataloguing capabilities and evaluating and adopting the EOSC-ENTRUST blueprint and technologies. It will develop a strong identity and network of practitioners for TRE delivery, and ground developments in concrete implementation.
The group will share experiences, align approaches and co-develop composable services and common processes (where the national requirements are visible to users and other providers). It will assess requirements and address the challenges of making TREs part of EOSC.
Critically, the Forum will also provide a network for sustaining knowledge sharing, collaboration and discussion beyond the EOSC-ENTRUST project. Long-term sustainability required strong links to national and institutional context, with TREs embedded into local strategies and funding streams.
